The Auto Repair and Customer Service was fantastic! They’re experts in general Engine repair, and certified to repair any Transmission issues. I damaged a CV Axle when I hit a concrete medium in a More Parking lot, causing a leak of Transmission Oil. Thank you Luis and Mr Madee for installing new parts and completing the work on time. I took my Lincoln Navigator to Luis at Young Automotive who quickly earned my trust. He diagnosed the issues and coordinated the repair through my dealership-only warranty, and his involvement More prevented the dealership from dodging or denying warranty coverage. His honesty and expertise saved me major costs and a lot of stress. I won’t go anywhere else now. FULL STORY: I’ve always taken my 2021 Lincoln Navigator to Lincoln dealerships because I have an extended warranty and figured the dealership was the safest place to be. On my last visit, I brought the vehicle in for simple things: an oil change and a loose interior door panel. Nothing mechanical and nothing transmission related. While I was there, I was given nearly $9,000 of recommended preventative maintenance. The Navigator was driving perfectly at the time, so I declined those recommendations and took the vehicle home. Within a few days of that visit, I started experiencing transmission symptoms I had never felt before such as hard shifts, delayed shifting, and occasional knocking. The timing of all of this shook my confidence in the dealership. I didn’t know who I could trust or whether I was now facing a real mechanical problem or a situation where I wasn’t being told the full story. That’s when I decided to get another opinion and I brought the vehicle to Young Automotive. Before sending it to the dealer, Luis inspected and test-drove the Navigator himself. I asked him to replace the transmission fluid and the transmission fluid pan to rule out the simplest possibilities first, even though he already suspected a deeper issue. Once the fluid was replaced and the issue remained, Luis told me the next step would have to be through the dealer because of my warranty coverage. He offered to take the Navigator there himself so I wouldn’t have to deal with them directly. What made the biggest difference is that Luis communicated directly with the dealership using his technical knowledge. He explained the condition of the vehicle, what he found, why he wasn’t performing the major repair, and what needed to be addressed under warranty. Because he framed the situation clearly and accurately as a warranty matter, the dealership processed the repair as covered work instead of pushing it back onto me as customer-pay. In short, his expertise and involvement made the warranty claim what it should have been from the start and all I paid was my deductible. It’s rare to find someone who treats your vehicle like their own, communicates clearly, and guides you through the process instead of pushing unnecessary work. Luis earned my trust through honesty, transparency, and follow-through, qualities I struggled to find elsewhere. Young Automotive will be my first stop going forward for anything they’re able to service and I recommend them to anyone who wants an honest mechanic who treats your vehicle with respect.
